A happening week

My dead-water-like life finally had some ripples. If you were to compare to all other weeks where I spent everyday stoning at home, last week was a happening week.

After god-knows-how-long, I've finally went to a "proper" night market where there's smelly tofu, flavored tao fu fa, curry fishball and any other foods a proper night market should have. I hate crowded places where you have to raise your voice so the stall owner knows what you want, where everyone's arms have to brush against each others' while walking but that night I found myself enjoyed strolling among the boisterous crowd, feeling alive.

The following night, I went to Adam Lambert concert. Thanks to Teoh and Teo for the free ticket. =p

Yep, it's the first time I've been to a concert.

There's not much fun being in a concert, especially when you're not a fan. But it was an eye opening experience to see all the die-hard fans spent a whooping 300 bucks for a ticket and queued up early just to be at the front of the queue. There's some Islamic extremist there too, giving out leaflets against Lambert. But that was kind of funny lor, since almost everyone there was his fans.

Friday night, we had a small gathering at Pavilion because wander boy happens to be in KL. Had dinner at Sushi Tei and headed to Changkat after Boon Yong and Emily arrived.

It was a long and tiring night! Reached Nilai, took a shower, changed into fresh clothes and head straight away to college after pick up some breakfast in 7-11. If you don't already know, I signed up for the white water rafting activity organized by Mei Peng. There goes another looooooooooong journey in the bus; all the way to Raub, Pahang and the activity took place at a place called Jeram Besu.

It was not as fun as I thought it would be. Plus, I can't swim. So, that's totally a let down! I was totally a failure in the water! *Sigh* I should have learn to swim! =( Worse than the concert, I've got two souvenirs from this trip, pus in the blister I got earlier because the sand got inside and trapped in there T__T and sunburn on my nose that have just started to peel T__T

Sunday was a good day because I had lotsa great foods because of my little cousin brother's 1st birthday. =D After one whole tiring day and got sunburn, it was so gooooood to take big bites of foooooods, knowing that I've burn off some calories the day before. [Like I ever care how much calories and fat I consume XD]
